Air Filtration
Carcinogens are cancer-causing agents, which can be found anywhere- in our food, in our water, in our air and in our soil. In the Dog Cancer Survival Guide, Dr. Dressler illustrates the number of chemicals that can be found in our air causing cancer in both humans and dogs.
Filtering the air your dog breathes may be important. Documented airborne cancer-causing chemicals include those from kerosene, coal, car exhaust, household heaters, chemical solvents, paint fumes, and industrial waste. If tobacco is smoked in your home, or if you live near a busy road, air filtration is highly recommended.
